Blog statistics?
Blog statistics provides you with information about your blog visitors ,
including visitor IP , the browser he/she is using and url referer (where he/she came from) . in other words gives you a
detailed report on the performance of your blog .
IP address
Is uinque number that assigned to each machine connected to the Internet .
each computer on the Internet has an address.
IP address examples :
64.233.187.99 , 212.227.34.5 , 66.94.234.13 .
Browser
A software that allows you to "surf " the Internet.
Netscape ,Mosaic ,Internet Explorer(IE) ,Firefox and Safari
Are examples of Web browsers.
A browser provides an easy to use interface for accessing the information on the
World Wide Web.
URL Referer
which is the address of the website which brought the visitor of your blog,
generally its the location(s) where your visitor(s) coming from
example :
if you click on the following link InsideTheWeb
free weblog , you well go to insidetheweb.net main page, in
this case our url (http://help.insidetheweb.net/blog_statistics.aspx) (look at
your browser) well be the URL referer .
Note that if you type insidetheweb.net directly in your browser ,
the URL referer well be nothing in this case.
